The Judgment

Now is a time to influence gently rather than push hard, to nourish and to wait rather than grab at a harvest. Can you rest in the stage of not-yet-raining, and store up first what needs storing? True depth of preparation often looks quite unremarkable.
The Six Lines
First line
As you go along, you find your way back to the right path that was yours to begin with — and what is there to blame in that? This line is about timely self-correction: notice you have strayed, and ease yourself back, without reproach and without strain. Return to the rhythm and direction that fit you, and the road runs smoothly.
Second line
Drawn along by those near you, returning to the right track together, is the good position of this line. Not struggling on alone, but lifting one another and giving each other a hand. This line reminds you: a willingness to walk with others and accept a kindly pull makes the way back steadier and far less lonely.
Third line
The wagon's spokes work loose and it can go no further, like a couple at odds, each pulling against the other. This line warns of the cost of forcing ahead: push when conditions are not yet enough, and friction breaks out on all sides. Rather than a collision, stop first and mend the relationship and the foundation, so a small crack does not drag the whole cart down.
Fourth line
Meeting others with sincerity, the old fear and danger slowly dissolve. This line is about the power of good faith: in a deadlock that has not yet loosened, candor and trust often open things up better than pressure. Set your guard aside and offer a true heart, and the tension naturally lets out a breath.
Fifth line
Sincerity binds people closely, and you are willing to share the good with those around you. This line is about flourishing together: when you do not hoard but let your neighbors prosper alongside you, cohesion grows stronger. Resources and trust, once accumulated, carry more force used to connect people than kept to yourself alone.
Top line
The rain has finally fallen, what needed accumulating is in place, and you can settle for a while. But this line also cautions: the moment of fullness is exactly the moment to draw in. No need to rush forward again; going past the point of enough invites reversal. Holding this result and letting it settle steadily is wiser than reaching for more.
Reading the Change
Lesser Taming is about accumulating slowly with gentle, minor force; from the first line to the top, it moves through returning to the path, walking with others, and drawing in once full. When a line changes, the rhythm of accumulation loosens at one particular stage. A change low down usually asks you to correct your direction and meet others sincerely; a change up top reminds you to know when to stop once full.
